About her
I am fun-loving, interesting, optimistic, articulate and positive. I am, by nature, spontaneous and will always be up for adventure. Sometimes that will lead me abroad but usually it takes me to the less developed areas of the UK; mountains, forests, beaches, rivers or anywhere beautiful with opportunities for camping, cycling, hiking or just being out and about.
I take pleasure in many things and the city also holds my attention. I enjoy opera, ballet, theatre, musicals and city-based cultural opportunities. I like to dine in top class restaurants but am also happy with my fish and chips sitting on a sea wall. I am happy experiencing life in all its many facets and find that the people in my life are more important than the activities we are sharing. I love to be doing something but also try to find the time to relax (occasionally with a glass of wine) and read, listen to the radio or watch the television.
I have lived abroad for several years and adapt well to different cultures and circumstances. Others have much to teach us and I am very willing to learn. I am, by nature, a busy person but would like to make time to develop a supportive and loving bond with a special person in my life.
The above sounds so dull. In essence, I want to laugh, be amused and have as much fun as possible for the rest of my life!

I would love to meet someone who takes care of themselves and is reasonably active. I care more about the kind of person you are than what you look like so if you are interested in discovering new skills, opportunities and adventures, we may have plenty in common!
I am looking for someone who is going to challenge me cerebrally and against whom I can bat ideas around. I sometimes need help with the crossword so if you enjoy games, puzzles, logical debate and discussion, that would be a bonus. I like to talk about topical issues and believe healthy debate is important. However, I am not confrontational. I don't argue or throw things!!
I derive pleasure from some of the simple things in life and hope that is something we can share. I love the smell of freshly mown grass, beautiful roses and lilies, freshly baked bread, wine and garlic. I love the crunch of virgin snow, crisp frosty mornings, sunrise and sunset, clouds moving across the sky. I want to skinny dip in remote lakes and laugh about all sorts of things. I don't take life too seriously and hope that you are also able to have a joke at your own expense..... I love music but not the duf duf sort, more the tinkling of piano keys on a breezy day. Will you come riding with me? Will you hike and camp with me or shall we stay in a luxury hotel?
