Hi I'm Sandra a little about me: I'm outgoing and enjoy mixing with people, but also happy in my own company. I'm well groomed and take pride in my appearance, though not obsessive and happy to relax in jeans or dressing gown :-) I like a well balanced life, but can act on impulse sometimes; I'm young in spirit and want to remain that way.I laugh a lot, am always cheerful and have time for people.I'm intelligent and bright and have plenty of common sense, well spoken and down to earth, caring and kind hearted. Like a lot of people I've had tragedies in my life but I remain positive and look towards a great future.
I enjoy City life and Country life, the usual things like eating out, country pubs, relaxing, wine bars, cinema, theatre, holidays abroad and weekends in the UK,music, reading, concerts etc. I love animals but don't have any. I'm a good listener and like to think I'm empathic. I'm also happy to go walking as long as it's not too serious and strenuous; a pub at the end of the walk or even for the weekend is good :-) I love the sunshine and dream of spending more time abroad in the future,up to now Italy is one of my favorite countries. I love the lifestyle, architecture etc.
I'm originally from Manchester and have lived in various places in the North West, moving to another town or country isn't daunting for me.
I'm not the sporty type but do drag myself to the Gym on occasions, although I once did go White Water Rafting in Turkey and it was great fun, I also did an Abseil many years ago and a Microlite Flight, which I would do again. I'm not into the celebrity culture neither do I watch reality TV.
There are many other facets to my personality and character, all good I assure you but trying to describe yourself in writing in the hope of attracting a potential boyfriend isn't an easy task. I really miss being part of a loving warm relationship and sharing my life with someone.

Well it's a difficult question "Ideal Match",sometimes in life maybe we thought we had found it but it turned out not to be :-) So here are a few things that I have thought of but not set in stone, sometimes you just meet someone and you just click and get on without having a list in your head.
I'm looking for a sincere attractive well mannered gentleman, who is honest, employed or retired, enjoys life, is grounded, has a cheerful and happy disposition, isn't old fashioned and caught in a time warp with his clothes and music, has traditional values, romantic and loving, knows how to treat a lady,enjoys going out and having a good time and can let his hair down if the mood takes him,enjoys and appreciates good food and wine and the finer things in life.Have the obligatory sense of humour. Enjoys holidays abroad and weekends away. He should be free and available and looking for a relationship not a one night stand. I would prefer somebody that is well over past relationships is not bitter and doesn't hold grudges.Not obsessed with work or sport to the point that he doesn't make or have time for a woman in his life.
