About her
I would so like to meet that one person to care about and do things with, to ring up and ask how was your day and say what's been happening. I've been widowed for some years, but am ready to move on.
I lived and worked in London during my career years. I worked mainly in factual publishing - compiling information for projects, writing profiles, checking out facts etc. I loved my work and was very dedicated to it, but now I just love living in Hampshire, such a beautiful county. I love exploring its highways and byways.
I have a large garden and have a love-hate relationship with it!! It's in a semi-rural location and I have a constant battle with deer and rabbits eating the plants, but I think they've worked out I'm a real softie towards animals, so they choose my garden.
I very much like to cook - in fact my perfect way to spend a Saturday evening is to cook a meal for an appreciative recipient and enjoy a glass (or more) of white wine.
Paris is my favourite city, used to visit it two or three times a year just for a few days. Of course, with the pandemic, I haven't been now for several years. Would like to explore more of Brittany and the Loire Valley.
Dance has always been part of my life, but do not panic - I'm not looking for a dance partner or some-one to accompany me to the ballet. I am a 'Silver Swan' - ballet classes for the over 55s!
I'd really like to meet some-one I could share interests with. Marriage? I'm not sure about that.
I think I'm easy-going and try to be positive. I'm extremely loyal and people seem to like to confide in me and I would always try to help some-one, if I could. Although I say I'm agnostic/spiritual, I try to live my life by Christian principles. I like being sociable and am told I can be quite entertaining when I get going.
So, it would be so nice to have some-one around to share things in life.

I would like some-one who is kind, caring, honest, attentive, loyal etc. But apart from ticking the boxes, there has to be a certain, undefinable chemistry. Some-one I can can relax with, who makes me feel alive, who doesn't put me down, whom I can laugh with, share some common interests and whom I enjoy being with..
