Someone with similar personality to me, and similar interests to me, but certainly not exclusively so. I am certainly open to new things! An awareness of the wider world would be useful too. I do not wish to be too prescriptive as it may prevent me from meeting that ideal person! However, I do not tolerate insincerity. If you are into one night stands and / or a couch potato, I do not wish to waste your time.
I love being outside, either in the garden or walking in the countryside or along an uncrowded beach. Cycling along a canal towpath or old railway line and possibly caravanning. People watching whilst drinking coffee in a favourite spot is always interesting. Visiting a stately home or a garden nursery, or even discussing domestic, European and world affairs!
