About her
My friends say I'm attractive and a nice person to know, but I find it hard to say things like this about myself, like most people, so I'll tell you what I'm comfortable with. People think I am a strong woman, but I am quite shy when it comes to meeting new people, so it's taken me some time to get round to doing this.
I enjoy going to the cinema and particularly enjoy fantasy, superhero and science-fiction films. I'm not a huge 'chick-flick' fan although I do watch them occasionally.
In recent years I have discovered a love of travel, despite an intense dislike of flying, and have been to China and South Africa for example. I realised that life is too short to let things get in the way of doing the things that you enjoy and which make you happy. I work really hard and there is certainly more to life than just work.
My three children are all in their 20's and pretty much have their own lives. Along with my grandson, they are the most important people in my life.

The person I am looking for should have a good sense of humour and make me laugh, respect my strengths and offer me support if I need it. In return I would do the same. Someone who is not afraid to show they care.
He should enjoy eating out and going to the cinema, be keen to see the world and not always leave me to do the organising.
