Still enamoured by interesting male company and feel positive about meeting someone new. A grounded woman who likes people with interesting lives or careers. Work still plays a part in my life as do friends and family; my role as a mum tends to play out around the periphery of my son’s lives, not in them. Love socialising, swimming when the water is warm enough, literature, art, London, France, with the odd visit to Spain thrown in. Adore the countryside and the sea. Like confident (not arrogant) men who also have some depth to them. Love to chat life and find others' experiences can, when interesting, really captivate me. After all, it is what has gone before that makes the person who they are.
Would like to meet a captivating man one who is not a 'player' and still has a spark about him. I am an open, warm, slightly dizzy woman who enjoys a sense of occasion but still retains a love of picnics which often go hand in hand with romance or adventure.
Would say my style is relaxed and modern, have all the usual womanly traits such a visit to the salon, time with my girlfriends, a relaxed evening, or an exciting adventurous day out. Am quite brave or at least I think I am and always happy to try new things.
Not deeply intellectual; I respond well to people who have something meaningful to say or discuss and have a sense of social justice. Possibly need to be stretched a little in this respect, Cornwall feels so far removed from the rest of the UK that it is easy to become complacent. Still working, a fairly stressful job although it does keep my feet firmly on the ground.
Spent years living/working in London on the edge of the legal profession, (chambers, law firms, courts), before returning home some time ago. Not adverse to some distance geographical or otherwise in a new liaison; a slow fast dance perhaps.

Am looking for an attractive, relaxed, warm, funny, charming man whose work and interests help define who he is although perhaps one who does not take himself too seriously. Am comfortable with quirky but not too alternative, more classic with an edge. Important to be as comfortable rambling about countryside in wellies or mucking about on the water as socialising in more formal occasions. A passionate man who still has some zest for life and intimacy in him without the need to play games, a man who knows the direction he is headed and no longer gets too lost en route. Would be great if you loved Cornwall. Having tried a long distance relationship, I am now aware of the pitfalls of the same; doesn't necessarily rule that out though. Tend to like men who are good at being alone without being too insular or isolating. I am a little traditional in some aspects but super modern in others, so flexability is high up there. Most wonderful experience when meeting someone new....chemistry, if its there thats it for me.
