There are not enough hours in the day to do all the things that interest me. I am never bored and life with me is never boring.
I seem to have a knack for attracting the unexpected!
My children and friends often say I look like the french film star, Catherine Deneuve. English friends think I resemble Joanna Lumley. I hasten to clarify that they are referring to these 2 ladies as they look today rather than in their heyday.
I am Intelligent, kind, gentle, loving, compassionate, and generous. I am also resilient brave and optimistic. My family is all-important to me. - I am a very good friend who will be there when you need one. A person who can be relied on when things get tough or in case of crisis.
Life has handed me more than my share of terrible tragedy, but even though I might stumble and fall, I get up and keep going. I am someone who never gives up and does not bear a grudge. I am romantic impetuous and much like the labradors I love, imbued with a very naive and childlike trust in the innate goodness of most human beings.
My belief and trust in others have tripped me up more often than I care to remember. But c'est la vie!
I was born in London but grew up in the South of France and have spent most of my life in France and Switzerland. I speak French and English fluently as well as Spanish and Italian. I am a university-educated, well-read, and well-traveled citizen of the world.
I love snow skiing, traveling, gardening, cooking, decorating, and entertaining. For many years I ran my own private practice as a Family Therapist. Since lockdown and the Covid pandemic, so many people have contacted me for help with anxiety, stress, and eating disorders that I decided to take my practice virtual via a Youtube channel. This means I can practice from home or anywhere in the world.
Although I currently live in France just over the border from Geneva and Switzerland this is absolutely NOT set in stone.

My ideal mate:
I am looking for a kind gentle RELIABLE trustworthy man. Someone who can make a promise and keep it. Someone who is genuinely looking for a loving companion as opposed to playing the field. A man who is tired of being on his own and feels life is so much better with a loving partner. Someone who is not afraid to commit.
HOWEVER, less this sounds a little too staid and boring, I hasten to add that I am extremely tactile and think physical intimacy is a very important and wonderful part of a relationship.
This being so my ideal man would combine old-fashioned chivalry with a very deep desire for intimacy. Quite simply put; He would not be afraid of showing affection in public or in private. More importantly, he would also be extremely tactile and would love to make love (to me).
Other much-appreciated traits would be a sense of humor and the ability to see the funny side of things. Compassion, kindness, honesty, faithfulness, and generosity are high on my list. ..
In an absolutely ideal world...If he happens to love snow skiing and boats it would be even better!
To recap and conclude. I am looking for a street smart sophisticated passionate warm-hearted VERY tactile sexy man, who would be both a loving partner and my best friend. Someone I can fall deeply in love with, who will love me back.
Last but not least, it's important to me that the person I am with knows how to behave - By this, I mean that he and can "walk with kings and keep the common touch", whilst also knowing his way around the block.
