About him
I'm originally from the North East and lived in the south of England for over thirty-five years, still have the sense of humour though! I have recently moved back to the North and spend my time between the two places. I am semi retired and work from home. I like nothing better than to unwind with friends and spend time exploring. I have a sense of curiosity, and I like old places, the countryside and walking with my dog (especially if there is a good tea room at the end), gardening, sing classical music, read spy and murder mysteries and enjoy having a good laugh although I do have a serious side and can be quite analytical as well. Friends would probably say that I am accepting, supportive and warm and have their best interests at heart. I have a very spiritual outlook on life although tend to keep this to myself. I'm an introvert although social as well. I've travelled widely and lived abroad and now would like to see more of the UK. I am interested in people and places. I've had a wide experience of life on many levels.

Is anyone ever ideal?! I've noticed that I've tended to get on with men who while having a conventional exterior are more than a bit maverick in reality. An irreverent sense of humour and a tolerant attitude is important, also stability. Friendship is more important than a sexual relationship although I wouldn't rule that out. Friends need to be fairly fit due to the inevitable daily dog walking!
