I'm just a totally normal person - quiet but bubbly, fun-loving (but not thrill-seeking), with a great sense of humour.
I've been alone for a while now, which is fine - I'm perfectly happy with my own company, and friends and family are always there for me, but it would be lovely to have a special someone to share all the wonderful things that life has to offer.
At the moment you'll most likely find me curled up with a book or working in the garden, but in normal times I also enjoy music, theatre, cinema, bars and restaurants, skiing, travel, and I'm a bit of a Sudoku addict.
I'm warm and big-hearted, open, tolerant, laid-back, and I get on well with most people. The only things that put me off are arrogance and elitism.
It's difficult to find that special someone because I'm never in one place for long. I bounce back and forth between Germany and Belgium (and the UK in non-pandemic times). I have no idea where I'd like to retire to eventually, could be anywhere!
I've never tried online dating before, but who knows, maybe there's someone out there waiting for me :-)
