Hello
Thank you for reading my profile. I'm not sure where to start really but here goes!
I have been divorced for a long time now but haven't been totally on my own since then. I've had a couple of long term relationships which, sadly, didn't work out. I have also brought up my two daughters both of whom are married and living in Leeds (purely a coincidence as we have no connections with the north). My eldest daughter has two children and my youngest as one and another on the way. I adore them all. Unfortunately, Leeds is a bit of a trek so I don't get to see them as much as I would like.
I have lived in Oxford for over 30years but would actually quite like to live by the sea. I have a good friend who lives near Poole in Dorset and I dream of retiring down there. I guess I shall have to wait and see what my circumstances are when the time comes.
I'm quite an active person and love to have something to do. I have joined some walking groups and so will often spend one of the days at the weekend out on a long walk. I am a keen bridge player, enjoy gardening, decorating, dancing, badminton, going to the theatre, all the normal things really!
I work in an independent school but, being part of the admin team, I don't get the long holidays. I do love my job though so I'm not complaining!
So, all in all, I think I'm pretty lucky. I have a wonderful family and home, lovely friends, a good social life and a great job. Just one thing is missing - someone with whom to share it.
