I am an extremely outgoing and confident person, my background is Advertising and marketing having spent my early days in Fleet Street (until Mr Murdoch came along I then went to New Zealand to join a number of newspapers
I ended up working for the NZTB promoting the country as a convention/conference destination.
I enjoy the theatre, reading and good conversation with a glass of wine. I am very fussy about my appearance, look very corporate for my job, but also scrub up well in a pair of jeans.
I am a big walker and walk at least 3 times a week, more in the summer. I belong to a running/walking group but do tend to do more walking than running these days
I am an avid reader, and like to keep up with current affairs, I play scrabble and like to cook for my friends.
I have had a pretty full on life so far, spending many years in London and New Zealand where I ran the Advertising and Marketing departments for a number of newspapers, I have been a city girl in the past but have come back to The Cotswolds and my roots. I'm outgoing and have a good sense of humour.
I have had some ups and downs, however,my philosophy is "never look back". I have been fortunate to experience life the other side of the world which just cannot be bought, I have met some very nice people on the way,and it would be fantastic to meet someone to share life with, in my next life stage.

I would like to find someone who is successful and still wants to achieve things in life, could be his job, traveling, keeping fit or looking after his garden - whatever motivates a man to get up in the morning.
As I have mentioned I am a big walker and am enjoying the Cotswolds which I left when I was 21, anyone who would appreciate the countrysie and who likes walking in all weathers would tick my box.
Going to a nice country pub, reading a book in front of a fire, walking holidays in places I have never been before, some sun, I don't like the white stuff I'm afraid, not used to it anymore.
I would like to meet someone who has the same sense of humour as me, I do veer on the witty side, a man who is well read and loves a good conversation, possiblly traveled so we can share our experiences.
