I am a slim blonde, fit and active, with a very positive outlook on life.
Intelligent, and with a good sense of humour, I have enjoyed most things life has thrown at me. Now I am in the happy position of being able to do all the things I was too busy to do during my working life.
I enjoy most outdoor activities. Living in such a beautiful area of the country as the Peak District, I love to go walking in the hills - just as long as there's a nice country pub at the end of it.
I love dancing, whether it be Argentinian tango, modern jive or Ballroom. I find it's a great way to stay fit and socialise. If you fancy learning I'd be happy to teach you. If not, there are plenty of other things we could share.
I love the theatre, live music and really enjoy good food and wine. I like to travel, whether it's to cities or beaches, although I do find it hard to just lie on a beach all day these days. I love cities - Paris, Barcelona, Venice in Europe, or Sydney, Singapore and Vancouver further afield.
I love food and eating out, whether it's sitting in a shack on a beach in France eating oysters, tapas in the back streets of Malaga, or plates of antipasto in a sunlit Square in Rome. I also enjoy cooking, so if a quiet meal in with a good bottle of wine is your thing that suits me too.
