About her
Having lived and worked most of my adult life in or near London, I moved back to my roots to settle in Herefordshire six years ago, living in my favourite village where I have made a wonderful circle of friends. I am semi-retired, having turned some of my home into a holiday let and doing a bit of Airbnb. Huge animal lover, especially dogs and elephants. Love to travel, especially off the beaten track, learning about new cultures, though a lot less than I used to since Covid struck! Planning lots of UK travel this year, so I can take my pooch with me (she has been lonely since my other dog died very recently). Love socialising though don't need to be the centre of attention. Would love to meet someone with whom I can share interests. I'm a woman of contrasts: I love fine dining and greasy spoons; dressing up and wearing jeans and t-shirts; a bit of opera and more than a touch of rock and pop! Live music and gigs in small venues are my idea of a fun night out. Or having a good laugh at a comedy club. Nothing better than fits of giggles over something silly (like wearing a tea cosy on my head, see photo!). An ideal afternoon out would be wandering around places like the Henry Moore Foundation - it used to be on my doorstep but a long way from Herefordshire - or browsing in local antique shops or walking the dog (Hergest Ridge one of my favourite spots). I don't have children but if you do, I'm totally cool with that! I'm independent but would like to meet a 'gentleman'. (All photos taken in 2022).
