About her
A bit of a non-conformist, I am a senior clinician working in mental health services. I was once described as "charming and slightly bohemian".
I like to go to the gym to keep fit and to manage some of the stresses of my job. I've also just bought bicycle and am starting to ride again for the first time in over 30 years. So I guess you could say I'm not afraid of a challenge! I am very excited about the Tour de France coming to Sheffield and plan to watch it on the Cote De Jenkin Road.
Friends would also describe me as determined and someone who works hard. They would also say that I'm a good listener. At the same time, I'm also not afraid to express my own opinions.
If you like rock music and motorbikes, we should get along fine! I enjoy going to gigs - the last one I went to was Black Sabbath. But I also like watching ballet too, so don't be too quick to put me in a pigeon hole.
I'm open to trying new things - as long as they don't include camping in the wind and rain or mustard (yack!)
My children are 19 and (almost) 16, and both live with me. My son has special needs as he has Autistic Spectrum Disorder. If that puts you off, then you would not be the sort of person who interests me, not least as he is the most polite young man you could ever wish to meet. My daughter tells me I can be "a bit full on sometimes, mum!". I am truly proud of them both.

I am looking for a partner who is intelligent and interesting. Of equal importance, I am looking for someone who is understanding and supportive; someone who is reliable, tolerant and patient. However I imagine many people would say these sorts of things. So, to fine tune it a bit further........
If you were a colour, you'd be deep claret rather than pale blue. You'd be Frasier Crane, rather than Niles Crane.
I like men who can make me laugh: I love Dara O'Briain but Frankie Boyle's humour leaves me cold.
It would be nice if we had some shared interests but some diversity would be good too. And you - like me - would also enjoy and appreciate relaxing nights in with a glass of wine (although I know this is a bit of a cliché on sites such as this!!)
You'd be able to put up with me watching Strictly Come Dancing: you might even consider trying out a salsa class with me!
Finally, it's important that you love dogs - or at least Jack Russell terriers - as Spot will have it no other way!
