About her
Stepping out is not easy but I am giving it a go, are you there Mr Right? I would really like to spend time and share the good things in life with someone again. I have been on my own for 12 years and whilst I enjoy my female friends there is something about having that special person in your life that makes it so much more enjoyable and richer. Who am I and what is my life like at the moment?...... Friends are better at describing than I would be and they say they see me as vibrant, energetic and friendly with an optimistic outlook on life. I am intelligent, sincere, caring, honest and reliable with a good sense of humour and easy going. That's what they said I will add that my interests are varied and I'm happy to explore things new. I enjoy yoga including laughter yoga which is energising and releases the endorphins in me!! I've explored numerous self awareness programs, enjoyed and learnt a lot about myself which I hope I use well. I like reading, listening to music and going to the theatre. Walking (any terrain) and making the most of my National Trust membership is also part of my life. I enjoy socialising and dining out and think quiet suppers for 2 in (let's try a new recipe!) are great. I miss those suppers for 2.
I enjoy being active and involved and in 2012 I spent a year in West Africa with an NGO hospital ship as a volunteer in the role of ships Purser. I sat as a Magistrate for a number of years and now volunteer as a Debt Adviser. This year I intend to make more of my U3A membership.

I am looking for someone who is active and interested in life is sincere, honest, sharing, caring and warm with an outgoing personality - quite a list!!!! A good sense of humour and an optimistic outlook on life are important as is emotional intelligence. A person who is engaged with life and is engaging to be with. I like the outdoors, walking and visiting places of interest, all this is so much more fun and enjoyable when sharing it with that special person. Its also a good way of getting to know one another at a different level just walking, talking and sharing. I would be just as happy in trying out a partners favoured activity if invited. A deal breaker for me would be male bling, tattoos and a lack of good manners.
