I am told I have a good sense of humour and am young for my age. I am also reasonable fit. I am a born optimist, I always look on the bright side.
Now retired having had a professional career in the City, I now enjoy being outdoors, weather permitting, whether it be in the garden, on the golf course or just going for a walk. When I get the opportunity I also enjoy sailing, but prefer the Mediterranean to local waters. I enjoy travelling both near and far and am still keen to explore new destinations.
I like eating out with friends and family. Being on my own I try to stay busy and am involved in a number of organisations and societies both in and out of the village I live in. This means I can look forward to nights/days spent at home. I go to the cinema fairly regularly and the theatre occasionally.
I am easy going and quite happy to try/experience new activities and interests.

Someone who is kind, easygoing, adventurous, loyal, enjoys socialising and is not moody. Comfortable walking down to the local pub for a meal or dressing up for a formal occasion. Reasonably intelligent with a good sense of humour. An interest in gardening would help, but is not essential. Someone prepared to travel both near and far. I would not want to be with anyone who smoked. A lady who would be happy sharing joint interests, but would continue to have her own separate hobbies/interests.
