About her
Truth alert - I'm not perfect! I asked friends (old and young), family and colleagues for key phrases they think apply to me. Apparently I am bright, easy going, independent, a bit scary, funny, soft, self-sufficient, loyal, dependable, intimidating, sexy, non-judgemental, strong, warm and don't suffer fools gladly. So there you go! Truth is, I'm any and all of these things.
I love my job (it allows me to live pretty well) and I love my friends (they make me happy) but I miss the fulfilment of one on one intimacy that comes with a relationship. A leisurely cup of coffee and the papers, a long walk, a road trip, a good dinner, a concert, a rugby match, the cinema, the theatre - all the things that are so much the better for sharing with someone that you just enjoy being with.
Ooh, just read that back and it sounds a bit intense. I really am a pretty relaxed person - honest! I'm not interested in game-playing and I'm not looking for drama. For the most part, I want to have fun, meet new people, do new things and see new places. If I find a special person to do those things with that would be a real bonus.

I don't really want to set any hard and fast rules on my ideal match. That said, I'd like to find someone who doesn't take himself too seriously, who knows when to talk and when to listen, who is comfortable in his own skin and can make me laugh.
I know that's all completely subjective, and probably not very helpful, but chemistry is far more important than whether you like wind-surfing or scrabble. Joint interests are great, but those are things you can develop together.
