About him
I live in St.Albans which I love. I am 71 years old, quite tall and slim with a pleasant, easy going personality. I was a university ( polytechnic then ) and adult careers adviser . My interests include cinema, theatre, holidays, reading, eating out, easy walking. I play bowls and petanque. go to the gym and swim.
I particularly enjoy holidays mainly ( but not always ) overseas, both with travel companies and my own travel arrangements.
I love retirement, and I know it's a cliché, but I don't know how I found the time to work. I am also an active member of U3A and my groups include History and Exploring London. I have done WEA course in International Cinema and Slav Opera, although I know little about opera, Drawing ( just confirmed I am no good at it ) and the Magna Carta. Until recently I led Health Walks as a volunteer. I often go out for meals with my children ( now in their 40s ) and to football and cricket with my son who lives in St. Albans. My daughter lives in Pinner.
