About her
I guess the first thing you should know is that I rescue dogs, so the number I have may scare some people, but they're all friendly loving, rehabilitated in some cases and all have been saved from death row. I also run a volunteer transport system which coordinates getting many into new homes and rescues minutes before euthanasia. The pay sucks, but the reward is great :) Rescue is my second job; my first pays my bills lol.
One day, its my hope to be able to start a non-profit that will focus on rescuing senior and high medical needs dogs (my true love). For now, I work during the week and spoil my dogs on the weekends while I search for a partner who loves animals as much as I do.
I also really like doing my own odd jobs around the house. Currently getting ready to restore wood floors..something I haven't done but I really like taking on new tasks and learning (You're never too old to learn).
POF is telling me I should tell you about my taste in music...sooo...back in high school (many moons ago) I was quite a singer and selected for state competitions as well as a european summer tour where we performed 21 concerts in 21 days across 7 different countries. It was a wild experience to soak up all of that culture as a teen...but that's as far as my voice took me. Realistically I'm good "but not that good" lol. I love old rock, country rock, blues, jazz...anything but headbanging stuff with unintelligible words. Music should speak to your soul.
I have two adult children, one in grad school half way across the country and another who lives with me and works, pays rent and thats been working really well for us. He helps take care of my dogs when I want to take a trip, etc.
Hobbies? I guess I should tell you I'm, highly intuitive and love to read tarot cards for friends and family. I'm told I'm quite accurate :)

Some day I'd like to find someone who's happy just to be a happy couple, none of the headgames and emotional baggage. If you're a porn freak, skip me please. If you're an alcoholic/drug user...be gone with you. I'm looking for someone who is physically AND emotionally available and mature enough to be in a relationship. (Which means all of you who send one liners like "do you do younger guys"...no thanks, I'm not Mrs. Robinson.)
