About him
Friendly, funny, happy, serious, articulate, intelligent, interesting, independent, honest, caring, loving, affectionate, sexy, tactile, broadminded, fit, positive, optimistic, young at heart all sum me up and in no particular order! You would also find me easy going, good company, broad minded and not moody.
I am divorced and live on my own in, Torbay, Devon.
I have many interests and have a passion for the great outdoors and nature. I love travelling, walking & rambling especially along the coast path, rivers, canals, on the moors and through the woods. Am a National Trust member and enjoy visiting their houses and gardens. I am also drawn to museums, galleries, cathedrals, old churches and really anything historical.
I recently walked from Birmingham to Gloucester along the Worcester & Birmingham Canal and The River Severn Way. I have many more new good walks and travels on my bucket list.
Other interests include cooking - yes, I can cook and really well, too!! And, like to be cooked for too. Love restaurants and old pubs for eating out. Have a broad taste in music from rock 'n' roll, rock, blues, pop, 60's and some classical.
Like nice nights in, too, as well, I am also interested in current affairs, business matters, reading papers, watching documentaries. I have a very positive outlook on life and my glass is always half full, if not fuller!!
Most of my working life, I have been starting and running businesses and am now semi retired.
People tell me that I make a great friend and am very dependable, loyal and trustworthy and am great fun to be with.

My ideal match would be someone who is friendly, happy, active, young at heart, fit, affectionate, sexy, tactile, who is intelligent, likes to laugh a lot, broad minded and reasonably easy going.
It would be good if we shared the love for the outdoors, nature, walking, travelling etc. and some other interests. But I think it is healthy to have different interest, too, as it keeps things 'fresh'.
I am also keen to learn new things, so it would be nice to share new interests, although, I have given up on being to able swim or ski - just cannot do it!! I'm good at paddling, though!
