About her
An innate tendency to produce too many ideas, and an irresistible desire to device projects, leads to my wanting to spend time with others, creating stuff often out of nothing. I will find any excuse to be surrounded by beautiful things, and by intelligent people. Some of these are my two children, gorgeous in their early twenties. I form relationships easily (am told that I am good at networking). Travel abroad is a constant factor. I prefer cycling in town rather than driving. Curiosity leads me to intriguing places. I have mastered the art of asking all sorts of questions without fear of not of remembering the answers. Somehow it all comes together. From all this excitement I calm down through yoga (am training as a yoga instructor). I cherish quiet and sensual moments in my wonderful family house in Rome. Apparently I am a talent spotter. I can see/feel who can do with a little extra help to make that important life-changing move. (I am told that I inspire people.) I thrive on seeing others blossom. I enjoy change myself, because on the whole I feel very rooted. I come from a solid background, from a strong family unit. I like managing and organizing things, researching and writing. I like domestic things too, cooking and eating good food (no meat whatsoever, though..., only fish). And I really like the sunshine and hot places...Luxury is a burning fire at the end of a big bed, with someone wonderful in the bed....Or a walk on a beach in September, when everyone is back at work or at school. I dislike laziness, can't stand excuses for not getting things done. Brought up a Catholic, I have strong Protestant tendencies (I was sent to a Swiss school, that's why!). So, sensuality in me coexists with rigour. I am fiercely independent and will need my own space. Take me to the seaside, the desert, or the countryside, but not to the mountains! I only like it hot, flat and comfortable.

I seek a partner who is intelligent, sensitive, health conscious, athletic and good looking. He will like yoga, will speak several languages, and will lead an international life. He must have had or have a successful career, should love bautiful things, eat well, (cook well) and look good. Good looks are important. Appreciation of excellent food and wine and the ability to cook well are also a definite plus, no, a must! (I grew up in a culture that values all that.) Ideally my future partner would be at a point in life where he has time for me. We could travel together and join in most things together, active sports, yoga, enjoying the company of friends, and also work projects.
We would have enough separate time to spend with our respective children. Not necessary to live together as a "family": we are likely to each have our own children and have had our own families. Will not accept laziness, dishonesty or manipulation. I need openness in life, and emotional courage, which I equal to intelligence. Aggressive streaks are unquestionably out. Highly competitive people often hide anger and insecurity. I prefer ambitious but cooperative people. I would consider only someone who is totally comfortable financially. He must be well educated, well brought up and have a close relationship with his family of origin. I need someone who will appreciate me for what I have to offer. Frequent travel to Italy needs to become part of his lifestyle. He will drive willingly and well at nighttime as well as on motorways.
I would love someone with initiative, but not bossy. I need my man to be gentle but assertive. He will be a real gentleman. He should respect me and listen, I will listen to him and respect him. He must write and speak exceptionally well.
We will love our intimate moments together, joke and laugh, but also build new cultural enterprises together. He will be full of good ideas, but practical: a soul mate with whom I can be creative. He must be sophisticated, tending towards being an aesthete.
