Updating this in August 2022 as life returns to something closer to normality (though I'm still being a bit cautious...). The first photo is August 2022, the others in 2021. My enchanting little granddaughter now has an equally enchanting baby brother too.

I volunteer locally for the National Trust; previously at the Royal Academy and at the Hampton Court and Chelsea Flower Shows. I have rediscovered photography and am an active member of my local camera club. I also do a weekly art group and have recently joined a larger monthly group. That all makes it seem I have a life too busy for a relationship - far from it, I'd love to rearrange priorities! Amor vincit omnia....
I enjoy listening to music, going to the cinema, theatre, concerts, art galleries & museums - rediscovering them and finding new ones to visit. All much more enjoyable a deux.
I'm fit (in the old fashioned sense anyway) and healthy. As you can see from the photos I am blessed with genes making me look several years younger - and behaving like it too...
Enjoying travel - mostly in Europe (Greece is a particular favourite) but also in last few years Georgia; Cuba; Nepal and Bhutan; southern and western Turkey. Prefer active holidays - am not a beach lazer - including photography, painting and walking / sightseeing. Also at home - there's so much of the UK I don't know; and regular trips to my cottage in Normandy, mostly trying to keep the weeds under control and just enjoying being there. Travel was abandoned during lockdown and since; now looking ahead to this year - a deux would be ideal...
