A woman enjoying what life has to offer and ready to meet that special someone who shares some of the interests which keep me fit, happy and healthy.
I focus my energy on experiences rather than 'things' and would much rather spend on an adventure than on a new kitchen - well unless my old kitchen was REALLY bad ...
Have had a successful career and now work part-time which has allowed me to develop my leisure time. I am no athlete but love to be outdoors walking, running or cycling. I am not compulsive in my sporting interests and home time is important too, relaxing to music, a book, a movie, Radio 4. I have a good social life with longstanding friends and a lovely adult son who lives and works in London.
I care about the environment and the multicultural community I live in and try to live mindfully.
Love exploring and the open road holds a special allure as do train journeys. Some day I want to wear an "I rode the Ghan" t-shirt.
Not going to give any more away because, whilst I clearly think I am fascinating, highly intelligent, with the mind of a happy younger woman in an older body (how did that happen?), it is time to move to the next section.

Don't mind what you do (providing it is legal and above board), but do you have a real appetite for life, receptive to new possibilities? You have your own interests but it would be great to share discussions and thoughts even when we don't agree and some common activities, values and aspirations. A reasonably confident warm-hearted man who is physically active preferring being out-of-doors to watching television or engaging in retail therapy, comfortable in woollies and wellies as well as looking cool.
