Warm and friendly, good listener, enjoys outdoor life, country walks in summer and cosy nights in in winter months. I am easy going and take each day as it comes but always appreciate having something to 'do' and someone to do it with. I love animals especially dogs. I enjoy the theatre and arts, ancient buildings and mood and classical music. Member of RHS so love anything to do with gardening. I am an artist, working in different media. For complete relaxation in summer I get in the car and go to Sandbanks and grab a pub meal on the way home. It would be much more enjoyable to have someone to share the experience with. I am considered, by friends, to be a good cook who bakes great cakes and makes lovely jams and chutneys, so, someone with similar interests would be a good start - but - heck, I don't care whether you can cook or not, I really would like someone else in my life, having been a widower for over twelve years now I have learnt to look after myself. It would be nice to find a lady who ,is spirited, loves life in general and has good family connections. I am one of the older generation, considered gentlemanly by friends, not a lot of us left nowadays, rare and exclusive being with a wicked sense of humour. Would be nice to receive a message as to yes/no. Enjoy life as we cannot see into the future. I have spent several months in hospital since 2019 and have been a victim of Corona virus. Happily I have been treated and am now virus free and self monitor each week I have suffered with Scoliosis for many years due to being born with double curvature of the spine.
