Not done this for a while.....but here goes !
I'm extremely open and honest, caring, affectionate, fun, feisty and up for adventure. Last year I did a bit of travelling for 8/9 months . I get along with pretty much anyone and everyone...so far ! Everyone gets my vote , until they give me reason to withdraw it . Interacting with other people is what makes me happy. A loner I am not ....
After my trips to Australia and New Zealand I've had confirmed what I probably already knew ....that location is less important than finding a special individual . Although I'm , temporarily , in Manchester , travelling to other parts of the country isn't an issue . I'll go to where I feel I need to be . The gypsy in my soul ?! The tricky part ,seemingly , is finding someone who has a similar outlook....plus that elusive spark . Luckily , I have very many friends with whom I can share the good, bad and distinctly ugly times . But a partner is something different . I'd like to be cherished, not smothered; cared for , yet not have my spirit squashed . I believe I always treat people as I hope to be treated myself .
I have pretty eclectic tastes in music, love sunshine, live performance in all its' forms, volunteering , cooking ( and eating even more ! ) , poetry ( not an expert ), sharp wit , dancing ( like nobody's watching ) , walking in wide open spaces and peace and quiet ...though I do love a good party ! The list of things I enjoy( mostly simple pleasures ) would be pretty long . My attitude is very positive , maybe because a fair bit of bad stuff has occurred in my life and I feel my perspective is ...well , healthy. Negative Nigels need not apply ! I am ready to be swept off my feet and to skip away , laughing hysterically , into the sunset......; )

Above all else, I need someone who is kind, can make me laugh and with whom there is active chemistry . No matter how worldly, sociable, spontaneous, sensitive, intelligent,positive, self-assured and grounded (phew ! ) a man may be, we're going nowhere if shared humour isn't there. Someone who isn't struggling with heavy 'baggage' and who shares my 'Carpe Diem ' approach would be superb. Not asking too much am I ?!
I'm keen to see the world through someone else's eyes , explore it further and , hopefully, exercise my zest for life through and with him . Keeping busy and having a full diary is important to me but I'm also very happy to relax and do nothing purposeful when that feels right. Decent glass of red, a fire, a film, a soulmate....bliss. It's vital to be able to do absolutely nothing with a partner and feel totally comfortable. Is wanting to be cherished and cared for compatible with needing my own space sometimes? Really hope so. Cuts both ways , of course.
Honesty ...well who wouldn't want that from a partner? So please, make sure your photos are from within the past year , not blasts from the distant past ! No more deception please ...not a great basis for a relationship. **Photo essential ... no plans to ‘chat’ with a faceless human !
Oh yes ...and if you can strum a guitar, croon or tickle the ivories , ,'...had me at hello ' springs to mind !
