About her
A career girl for over 20 years, I stepped away from the Corporate environment a few years ago with no regrets. I now work part-time and do occasional voluntary work in environments that I enjoy. I’d describe myself as feminine, I take care of myself, however I’m also pretty robust - I can hold my own in most situations! I'm into my fitness, run several times a week, although shorter distances these days, and work out in my home mini gym after working with a PT for a number of years, a great way to de-stress!
I enjoy fashion and clothes, and love the opportunity to get dressed up, but equally comfortable in my wellies/trainers. I have an eclectic taste in music from Nat King Cole to Dua Lipa and lots in between!! A big fan of indie rock and the Stereophonics. One of my favourite pastimes is eating out, be it a street cafe for a croissant, a gastro pub for Sunday roast or fine dining for a gourmet delight. I love good wine too! I have an appreciation of performance cars and enjoy driving. I also enjoy watching professional sport, particularly international rugby, cricket and horse racing. I’m part of a racehorse owners syndicate which is great fun.
I'm family oriented and love spending time with my two sisters and their families, albeit we live at opposite ends of the country these days. I have let my social circle dwindle over the past few years due to my career and the majority of my girlfriends are now busy mums. It's often difficult to find opportunities to meet new people, and the pandemic/lockdowns afforded lots of time to reflect on the most important things in life. it’s time to be brave, hence this new venture/adventure..
I love to laugh and would love to meet someone like minded to broaden my social circle, maybe that someone special to share with. There is so much to do, and so many wonderful places to visit, I think sharing a bucket list would be infinitely more enjoyable.
