Hi.......
This is the tough bit!
Did all this exposing of personal details a while ago, but the timing never fitted in with 'life'. Not going to wax lyrical - would just like to meet like minded, interesting, intelligent individual to share 'stuff' with! I am a medical professional, on the cusp of retirement (scarey) and altho I have family and many friends and 2 bengal cats (one a 6 month kitten as a recent birthday present!) I think I would like to explore the opportunity of enjoying the company of 'someone new'! I am British but was born in Iraq because my father was the chief engineer at the time (last century) on the construction of the Euphraytes Barrage (know that's not the correct spelling) - but can't be bothered to check! Life is short etc......
I love travel (through my life I have lived in Holland, Germany, USA, Hong Kong, Borneo) and just spent my 60th in Myanmar (Burma) with my 2 daughters.
I also love art, cooking and walking (except these last few days have been SO bitter!)

I love a quick but not sardonic wit. Someone who has reached the same stage in life I have - in realising the pit falls are sh*t - but life does proceed and hopefully they are balanced over time by the elevations! Someone who isn't expecting to find an immediate replacement for someone/something lost but just wants to find a degree of companionship and shared mutual interest.
Someone who is intellectual, can hold a conversation, may have strong opinions on certain topics, but reserves the right to let people 'hold their own'.
I am from a medical background, so have a very strong 'caring' streak.and it would be 'nice' (such an ineffectual word!) to meet someone where the give/take equilibrium was addressed - perchance?!
Anyway.... time enough on these all absorbing, ergonomically destructive pieces of equipment.
