About him
I'm not mad or bad and my appearance doesn't seem to frighten people. The photos I took myself on 20 February 2015. I'll take some better ones but I suppose they are better than nothing. People who know me regard me as intelligent, generous and good company. I'm honest, loyal and trustworthy. I am looking for someone to go out with for meals and days out. I've been on my own for a few years now and grown accustomed to being a bachelor but I've never stopped hoping I'd meet a special lady to share my life with. Well I've decided the time has come to stop hoping and do something positive. This is my first time at this sort of thing and I'm a little bit nervous about meeting women this way. I'm looking for a friend to spend time with in the hope that this might lead to something more. If this happens our relationship would be one of mutual trust and respect and I would never let her down or betray her trust in any way whatsoever. I know this might sound a bit old-fashioned but to me trust is an essential element of a loving relationship.
I work as a manager for a large charity and part own a business in the west midlands. In my spare time I enjoy the usual things such as going out for a drink or meal, going to the cinema and theatre and so on. I would really love to go on holidays to countries like Greece again if I had someone to go with.
I don't claim to be anything special but I don't come with any baggage; I own my own home with beautiful views across Cotswold valleys and hills and I try to be a good person. I don't know if there is some form of protocol I'm expected to follow when meeting someone for the first time, so I suggest meeting somewhere like Costas and I'll buy you a coffee and a cake; I said I was generous!

I'm looking for someone special who will enhance my life. A lady with values to similar to mine. A normal uncomplicated lady who I enjoy being with. My ideal match is someone who is friendly and sociable with a good sense of humour. Someone who enjoys every day routines and simple pleasures. Someone who is calm and makes me laugh. I have never done this sort of thing before and I suspect it might be easier to find people to do things with than to find someone I'm happy just being with. I'm not looking for perfection but I am looking for an attractive lady who is caring, kind, considerate and loyal.
