About him
At heart, I'm a very straightforward guy who loves life, is engaged with what's happening in the world and will make the right person feel special. I love to laugh, to travel, to seek out new experiences and but also to savour the simple things in life that we can often take for granted.
I'm spontaneous, romantic, caring, funny and loving... equally at home booking a last minute weekend away or watching a great film with a hot curry and a decent bottle of red.
I've got to the age where I'm comfortable in my own skin, am confident in what I am (am what I'm not) and would love to meet a real soul mate (apologies for cliché!) to share the big and small things in life.
I have 3 great, older kids who I try to see as much as I can and it's a pretty relaxed arrangement. I'm way less interested in looks, age and personal history than I am in meeting someone that I truly bond with and who I can belly laugh with on a regular basis!
I'm genuine, honest and trustworthy and am looking for someone with the same values. Friends would say I'm switched on, bright, quick witted, tactful, and always willing to go out of my way to help others. Someone that has a view and opinion on things, someone that makes me laugh, has empathy and is thoughtful. Self awareness is important as none of us a re perfect and self deprecation is quite an endearing quality. I'd like to meet a lady who doesn't take herself too seriously but can also be serious. I don't really care about jobs, money, status, looks as I've learnt to understand over the years that individual values and a stonking personality are much more important.
