About him
Friends and those close to me describe me a kind, easy-going, positive, inspiring, creative, loving, and fun.
When I'm not helping old ladies across the road, rescuing cats from trees and generally fighting crime, some of the things I love are:
- Spending time with my 13 year old daughter
- Running
- Yoga
- A good meal with plenty of laughter and chat with friends and family,
- My ritual of making fresh coffee first thing in the morning
- Being in nature
- Lazing in the sunshine (rare in the UK of course!)
- All types of music
- Getting lost in a great book
- A blazing fire in the fireplace on a cold day
- Exploring new places
- The whole Christmas thing including spending afternoons watching cheesy Xmas movies
- Spending time with people who I will learn things from (and hopefully vice-versa),
- Going to see live performances
- Doing things that will make me laugh. Doing things that will make others laugh.
- Pretending to be Jamie Oliver as soon as I set foot in the kitchen
On the flip side, I avoid spending time with people that are sarcastic, rude, have big egos, consistently pessimistic and mean - life's too short.
I'm lucky to have a job that allows me to make a positive difference in people's lives and challenges me to TRY to be the best version of myself - hence 'Work in progress'! Making the best decisions I can with the information I have :)
