About her
I like people. I'm a good listener, easy to talk to, sociable, good company and have a sense of humour. I'm reliable, kind and smiley (and modest!). I consider myself lucky that I have a positive outlook on life. There is a creative streak in me and I enjoy cooking, having been a food writer and editor (value good writing) all my life. I watch little TV but enjoy the cinema, the arts, architecture, eating out, the company of friends around the dining table, travel, ceramics, ballet, dancing, DIY and gardening. I also enjoy spending time with my daughter, who lives in Switzerland, and my son, who lives in London, and my three adorable grandchildren.

I've lots of friends to do things with but no one to do nothing with, and solo travelling isn't for me! Life is for sharing so I'd like to meet that special person with whom I could smile, feel relaxed in their company and share our experiences together. Are you out there?
