I'm interested in most things and am looking for someone to share experiences, travel, thoughts, etc - life basically.. I've lived in and around London for over three decades, although I still have a slight northern accent. My background is as a chartered engineer but I retired early to do other things, like studying art history. I like to keep fit so I do walking, sailing (dinghies & yachts), messing about in boats, cycling holidays, gym, yoga, DIY, although I've got some metalwork in my hip and ankle due to 'wear & tear'....!
I'm looking for 'worthy' things to do in retirement so I've helped in schools career advice and do woodland volunteering. I want to continue travelling but it's so much better in company. I've lived/worked in Japan, been across the States, to Nepal, Tibet, India and sunny bits of Europe but there's so much more to see, isn't there?
