About him
Very content in my own skin and certainly not looking for someone who will cook, clean and iron! It would be nice to share the things I enjoy doing with someone.
I have lived in Greece, Australia, South Africa, Texas and Florida and have more or less settled now here in the UK.
Very much into water sports (leave your dirty mind out of this!) - sailing and surfing both of which I did competitively throughout my life, though I leave these now for warmer climes. Had my own yacht in the Mediterranean and Caribbean.Swimming in crystal clear waters, usually in Greece, is still something special -see the photo. Swim 4/5 times a week and surf occasionally.
Dog person at heart - love all animals in general. Cruelty disgusts me. The African bush camps, mountains, are something else.
Minimalist - not materialistic.
On a more down to earth level I am not one for spending my life in art museums - I appreciate the beauty and talent - I like what i see when i see it. I'm more into science and history museums. I don't 'do' most modern cities but enjoy the old ones.
I'm a life coach/psychotherapist/speaker/ author , an ex quantity surveyor. Psychotherapists sometimes get bad press (read people think they're wierd!) I'm not - well I don't think so! Kind, warm, empathic, caring
On a more personal note I find it deeply distressing (and no I don't wear my heart on my sleeve!) the way we are treating the planet and nature. This along with the present economical system, which leaves the majority of the population starving, I find untenable. It is something I work towards changing. So naturally conversations about philosophy, why we are the way we are, life, the willingness to be real and share our soul are, in my view, what relationships are about.
If you are a prude please pass, life is for living to the full .... just saying!

I am looking for someone who is independent, definitely not needy or high maintenance and who are up for good stimulating and witty conversations and adventure (but not too adventurous) who enjoys the experience of nature. If you enjoy swimming, (I'm not into wild water yet - too chilly - but if you are, will be your cheerleader) sailing, surfing, skiing, cycling, canoeing, horse riding great - I'll join you. I try to spend time a week or 2 each summer swimming in the Greek islands (or any other warm water places), so if this is you and you get in touch with the naturalness of that you might have a penchant for nude beaches - I won't be shocked! Enjoy the game parks of Africa or the mountains and you're perfect!
Spend time pondering about the 'why' of life, also perfect.
Down to earth - confident, and live in the now - adventurous to a degree (forget hitch-hiking thru Africa - tried that fail!) - funny - intelligent - a touch of style, comfortable in your own skin, sane, and sexy. Slim - petite is even better! If you have a keen spiritual philosophical bent that's a bonus. If all you can talk about is the latest episode of Coronation st and which celeb is dating - pass - we are not going to hit it off. Equally if you are dominated by greed it's not going to set the stage for a perfect relationship............ Oh - and lets not do long email or phone chats to get things going - prefer to meet face to face ASAP - it is about the chemistry at the end of the day.
