I love trying new things - which is why I guess I'm trying this...
Took me a while to get used to being a single dad, but I love every minute of it. (well, most minutes...) I'm also lucky enough to be doing a job that I enjoy. When I'm not doing that I enjoy to cook and entertain, theatre, films, eating out, live music of all kinds and simply chilling out with friends.... (remember those days...?)
I try to keep fit - I run regularly, cycle and walk my rather wayward but totally charming beagle. I enjoy both City and country. I work in London and have access to a flat there so used to stay in town quite a bit before lock down struck! Now I'm more often at my home in Salisbury - still hoping for the best of both worlds in better times! My work is often about words - so I like to relax by not using them.... Now that my son is spending more time with his mother, I've got a some time for me...
I enjoy contrasts - happy dressed up for a night at the opera - but just as happy walking along the beach, or pottering about in the Forest, camping or a weekend away or Airbnbing it somewhere.
