About him
I’m 70 and live 8 miles east of Nottingham. My wife died 10 years ago . I have a son and daughter both living in Nottingham who I work with .I'm caring, loyal,busy, optimistic, positive and romantic . Working 10 hours a week in our own business is great but having 40 staff is a challenge .I have 4 granddaughters who I see plenty of and love watching them grow up . I have many loyal and long standing friends but having a lady in my life is missing .
I’m slim and fit. I walk most days . Sometimes it’s a stroll and sometimes it’s a hike . Playing golf once or twice a week helps but if I don’t play life goes on . I’ve joined a gym recently and still go!
I usually cook the meals when entertaining ( and do the clearing up !) Eating in a top restaurant is a real treat but don’t do it very often . Love a beer before dinner especially when the sun’s shining but I’m only a social drinker
I’ve travelled near and far over the last few years and want to continue exploring but still love the Lake District , Norfolk ,Cornwall etc etc . I have a pad near Marbella and go a couple of times a year
Birdwatching has become important. Only just started to admit to it though . Got binoculars which appear to be a laughing matter for some but don’t yet have a tripod or rain coat !
Would be good if we shared some of these interests but I’d also like to share some of yours

Like someone with good banter and humour. Needs to be loyal and like the outdoors, travelling and trying new things .I'd love to meet someone who wants new challenges and doesn't want to stay at home all the time although cooking together with the right person on a Saturday is great fun !
