About her
Having been a Londoner for 20yrs, I've since moved up to East Midlands (fancied a diversion and a lure of having a house) but still share my time between the two, and in normal times often go to exhibitions and concerts in London, and stay for longer periods as well, being self-employed I'm flexible and my current location wouldn't be permanent.
I like people who are considerate, with good manners, yet who tend to be mostly informal and chilled out to some extent, and maybe somewhat irreverent. I have my own opinions but I would always listen, mutual respect is important. Wouldn't get on with anyone bossy or arrogant (unless that's part of your humour!)
My interests are mainly in the arts, history of art, architecture and antiques, my work also relates to that, also some of the contemp design. I'm self-employed but I did work for a commercial art gallery in the past. I also need my green spaces and some long walks, and I like good food and an odd glass of earthy red (don't drink daily). It's fine if you drink more but I wouldn't get on with a bottle-a-day drinker! I like a bit of a discussion on all sorts of subjects.
I rather like luxury but 'simple and charming' is even better to me. I'm not the type for adventure holidays in a tent / jungle, a bit of a delicate flower I'm afraid - that's not to say I don't have stamina or joie de vivre..
I do like and 'feel' music very much but I wouldn't want to have a background music on at all times, like some!
I'm thoughtful (too much sometimes) yet I value humour a lot (from PG Wodehouse to Woody Allen to The Fast show etc.) so would love to meet someone compatible on that. I'm definitely not all serious and love a bit of silliness at times.
I'm not originally British despite of the box being ticked, but as I've lived here all my grown-up life (mostly London) didn't want to make an impression of a new arrival!

Looking for my match to share, support and laugh with. I'd get on with an even-tempered, considerate partner, good manners and humour much valued whether you are 'funny' or have more of a dry style. I'm somewhat old-school (but not formal or inflexible) so wouldn't mind if you are too.

If you are professionally in history of art/antiques/architecture, that's a bonus, I tend to get on with academics, but I'm also interested in business side of things.
