My name's Rosie. I have a great sense of fun, I love being out in the countryside and I'm a keen walker. Recently I was introduced to the Lake District , which impressed me. I am more familiar with Scotland which I adore. I have an affinity with the wild, open spaces & lack of civilisation.
I relax by walking in these places, but also enjoy stretching out on the hills when you reach your destination (weather permitting of course).
I am a very good listener but also enjoy good quality conversation & like debate (usually can see both sides so don't necessarily have very strong opinion either way)
In more recent years, I've learnt to ski - a challenge for me as I don't particularly like heights with a steep drop off!! I love the mountains ,what better way to really feel part of them. I am always amazed by the scenery, such a reward.
I also like to think I'm a bit of a 'culture vulture' and I love a day out in London, visiting museums, galleries and performing arts. I love live music including classical, folk & the older "pop".
I love the sea & over the years have sailed dinghies & cruisers. I am ashamed to admit that I am a fair weather sailor now!
I work part-time as a Physiotherapist, from which a obtain a great deal of satisfaction. Every day is different & over the years I have met some lovely people. I worked in the USA for 11years which was a tremendous experience. I now have my own practice.
My outlook on life is this is no "dress rehearsal" so make the most of every day. I like to treat people as I find them & try not to pass judgement . There's an old saying "never pass judgement until you have walked a mile in their shoes".
