I am fairly laid back.,if setbacks arrive,don't panic.As Keats said,'' I never quite despair.'' You get over it,there are always people in a worse situation - deal with a minimum of fuss.
I love food,enjoy learning more about various cooking methods, recipes,etc.I am an artist,so food and paints each need their blends to succeed,I suppose that's why I can relate to and be enthused by different ideas and suggestions in both fields.
Music 's played a lot..I pick up the accoustic guitar often and listen to classical,blues,folk,pop,rock and world music as I paint,each and every day.
I'm far more fussy about painting details than everyday routines,but worry more about other people's well-being than mine.It is nice to listen to and to be listened to by a cheerful female.You may not get much sense from me,but there you go.
I enjoy horse racing,especially going to Cheltenham,as I like the town a lot.Not a big gambler -I am concerned for horses' safety more than for my money,really and rarely bet if not at the meetings.
Animals tend to come to me for a chat,don't know why,I always talk to them I suppose.I read quite a lot - historical,biographies,social history, rather than fiction.
I can walk miles,often taking photos used in paintings,have never driven any vehicle.If you're not near a station I'll not be able to meet,probably. I cycle most days,if it's not icy or snowing.You get addicted...the ride on the bike,on pleasant roads.Do try it,it's good for your weight,more fun and cheaper than the gym.
I enjoy a train for a day out to see different parts of our country.Holidays abroad are for the country's lifestyle,architecture and beauty,rather than lying on the beach and boozing.I do like the tastes of red wine,traditional beers and new food ideas, though.
You could not say I'm easily led but I never boss others..I'm a romantic,really.
So if you have 'slipped through the net',you're not alone...it's their fault,not ours, innit?

It would be nice to meet a sociable female who's cheerful,who will talk and will be listened to and who will listen to me ( you probably won't hear anything of huge importance...but there you go.) I'd enjoy walking and talking with someone who's interested in the surroundings,wherever we were - a ''Let's have a look in there,'' type of person,go with the flow.I tend not to take myself too seriously or worry much about things but I always listen to those that do worry.It would be nice to spend time with a 'country-' rather than a 'city lights-' lover.That's okay occasionally,but I'm not a rushing around person.Walking with you and the dog sounds better than dodging traffic.
