First of all, I would like to confess I'm hopeless at flirting! However, I'm romantic and wear my heart on my sleeve. I enjoy good conversation and have bags of energy and a large repertoire of anecdotes, which even my daughter says go down a storm at dinner parties. I have a love for reading which inspired me to complete a Creative Writing MA and teach undergraduates, as well as writing childrens books. Whilst I trained and worked as a lawyer, I believe I have found my passion in writing, therefore surely this bodes well for a second chance in the dating world...It;'s not possible with covid but my new life in the academic world also gives me holidays! I love travelling and seeing new places, especially when sharing these memories with those close to me.I enjoy any getaway in or out of the UK, and I can suffer a posh hotel as well as camping. I've rediscovered festivals and I love my music - anything from jazz to indie to reggae. If I'm not listening to music then I'll be guaranteed to be tuned in to Radio 4 or seeing a play or catching an art exhibition. If you're into all these things then hopefully you had a good appreciation of other cultures which being Asian is an essential quality for a future partner. I have one daughter who is at university and so I feel it is the right time toi look for a relationship. I am looking for someone who wants a steady long term relationship. I know it's not easy to find the right person on your doorstep so I'm happy to meet someone who lives further afield which would form part of the excitement and fun of embarking on a new adventure.
