. I'm ready for a new adventure after some difficult years.
In many ways everything is great in my life. I have three fantastic children all married to lovely and successful partners. I have a fine but rather large house and after a long and successful career feel comfortable and have the resources to enjoy a good life.
I have four infant grandsons Unfortunately they are all rather spread out in Liverpool, Manchester and New York. However iits a great excuse to head to the United States.
My interests are many and varied including live music, theatre, cinema and visiting art galleries all over the world. I am however open to new things and it has been great to take on new interests that friends old and new introduce me to.
I'm a city boy at heart but love to get out into the country too. Weekends away in the Lakes, Scotland, the Dales with someone special are my idea of perfect days.
People generally regard me as a sociable, kind, fun loving, intelligent and generous guy. I like to treat others how I would like to be treated.
Live music has always been a passion of mine. I like to mix seeing old favorites like Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young with keeping in touch with new artists such as George Ezra, Hozier, Florence and the Machine and many more. Particularly fond of Elbow and Arcade Fire. Love to see live music. It would be great to have a new "gig buddy" to share my passion.
I do like to keep myself fit but am more of a reluctant gym visitor and should do more. I like to cycle but more as a social thing. I did however tackle a strenuous cycling holiday in Cuba. Love a good country walk but only fun with good company.
