About him
So what would you like to know? Like many people on this site I am unsure what to write here. I am told I am easy going and reliable, with a good sense of humour and a down to earth nature. I would prefer a quiet meal or drink on our own or with friends than going to a noisy pub or club where I struggle to hear the conversation. I enjoy watching most sports whether live or on TV. I play golf to a reasonable standard (my current handicap is 14) so it would be nice to find a partner for all those mixed competitions that I can never enter as well as go away on golf trips both at home and abroad.
I love comedy shows Have I got news for you , Live at the Apollo and Jasper Carrott are amongst my all time favourites. I also enjoy listening to Cds. My current playlist includes Neil Diamond, Annie Lennox, Phil Collins and Queen. I also like to keep up with the news on tv and latest films.
Work has been all consuming in the past. I used to spend a large portion of my time away from home or travelling and working long hours.That has now changed and I am now able to spend a lot more time doing the things I want to do. My children are now old enough to take care of themselves.
I am not sure what my best features are. I am just under six feet tall and broad shouldered. From what I gather I don't look my age. I still have a full head of my own hair although there are now some grey bits.

PS cooking is not currently on my skill list but training is in progress.

What am I looking for?
I am interested in finding a like minded person who is interesting to chat to and has a friendly face, a nice smile together with a good sense of humour and perhaps a sense of mischief!!.
