About her
Roses, gardening, reading, music, music, countryside, nature, friends, good conversation and home are things I hold dear.
Humble intelligence, laughter and integrity are very attractive.
Have hit the pause button, which is quite nice, having worked hard, lived in the fast lane for a while, and dedicated a short sixteen years to the wonders and dramas of parenting. As the dependence grows less and so too the tasks of protecting, teaching, encouraging, new (and old) horizons are coming into focus.
I tried bridge - boy is it hard. My image of lazy after dinners onboard a swish liner quickly gave way to the pressure of competition. I could be convinced to give it another go. Next,a return to bushwalking - I must have evolved into a rambler. 6 hours striding up, down and through mildly wild terrain is not my idea of enjoyment and leaves little time to look, smell and appreciate. Keeping the neurones flashing by learning a new instrument - this I love, even though it is challenging. But that is part of it, along with the pure joy when a tune sounds tolerable. Living overseas for part of a year is on the list - after working in Asia for 7 years, and enjoying a smaller world of suburban life, it will soon be time to set sail again.
