I will probably always be essentially a New Yorker, but in '04 I moved to London, looking for new challenges and opportunities.

Historically, I've chosen men who are either slender or athletic in build with cute or handsome faces. Angels generally appeal to me more than devils; I find shyness and masculinity appealing. I value cosiness and home-life as much as passion in a relationship. It is my nature to be mongamous and, to be honest, I don't think much of open relationships. Dating sites ask us to list what we want, almost as if we could order a date or a partner on-line, like everything else. As a result, we can become self-conscious as to how near or far we come to the other's described ideal. The fact is most meaningful relationships start with a cup of tea and a chat; whatever flows organically from that point is up to the two consenting adults involved.
My on-line dating experience make me think that too many men regard intimacy as a form of mutual exploitation. That is not what I am looking for. You will never regret being gentle or kind.
