About him
I am thoughtful of and caring to my friends and I like to get to know people properly (although very friendly, I'm not great at small-talk, except perhaps with the right person!). A science graduate, I'm dedicated to my job but enjoy many other aspects of life, particularly the making of music (I play piano and violin to a high standard), gardening and photography. I also enjoy reading and observing natural history . I run a comfortable home and enjoy my creature comforts. I also enjoy being outside in the countryside, just to walk or to follow my interests in the natural environment. I know my own mind and rarely follow the crowd. Like many thinking people, I can be a bit cynical and fatalistic regarding the world at large, but in the end, I realise that you just have to make the best of what we've got and who we know. I think that a good sense of humour is so important in life and I can find it difficult to relate to people who take themselves too seriously.

I am looking for an interesting lady who is intelligent, fun to be with, and who has an interest in the world outside her own immediate 'bubble'. Whilst it would be lovely to find someone with a similar interest in practical music making, I'm more interested in finding someone who is thoughtful, intelligent and has a good sense of humour.
