I can offer a warm and friendly relationship if the right chemistry exists. Married 51 years I hate the vacuum of living alone - no one to chat to, laugh with, discuss serious matters with, go on holiday with (or even out with) or cuddle. I am very much one half of a couple who likes simple (if sometimes expensive) things, sunshine, restaurants, company and just living. As Pooh said 'Its more fun with two'.
I am an engineer through and through, I started a high-tech business in 1971 which had its ups and downs but I would not have wished for anything different and loved it. It became successful and the products which I was very involved in designing were, in one sense, my toys. We had a world class niche market and I hated having to sell it in 2000 at 65 because a very good opportunity came along. Engineers get things done and that is me. I am not a very artistic person, and only have a small appreciation of fine art, music, classics and so on - my wife called me a heathen. I do see elegance in design but viewing some hundreds of Madonnas in a Florence museum left me cold. Otherwise I am an average sort of person, businessman, entrepreneur, technical, BMI 29 and use a stick some of the time. As my nom-de-plume suggests I love the beach life in nice places - France and the West Indies being two of them. I have a nice house and will be happy to exchange more photos after first contact.
