I'm an outdoor guy who enjoys travelling, walking, wildlife, and sightseeing, both in the UK and overseas.
I like films, theatre, music, eating out or in - I enjoy cooking! I also like to watch television news and documentary programs to keep abreast of current affairs.
Keeping fit is important to me. In the past I’ve run half-marathons. I now stick to walking and recently backpacked 140 miles of the Camino de Santiago in Northern Spain with my eldest daughter. She and I will walk a further 120 miles of it in September this year.
I'm looking for friendship, companionship, for any or all of my activities, plus any of yours that we might share. And, of course, I'd love to have a soft hand to hold whilst out walking and someone warm to snuggle up to at night.
Travelling is my major interest and I’m looking for a companion for that - someone who shares my desire to explore new and exciting places.

I recently returned to live in Cleethorpes, an English seaside town, which was home when my children were at school, but my match could live anywhere in the world, perhaps giving us a home in each country.
