I am a barrister living in Islington area. I got divorced a couple of years ago. I would like to to meet a companion to enjoy restaurants and theatre etc. In my spare time I enjoy going to museums and galleries. I play the guitar and the ukulele and have a reasonable voice. I go the gym (reluctantly - find it boring). I follow football and rugby and used to play both in the past. i still play a decent game of tennis. I hate water sports. I love cocktails and single malts. I am very well read. I studied at Cambridge and at Oxford.
I have three teenage children but they live with my ex. I often find myself at a loose end at weekends when they are not with me.

I would like to meet someone who can make me laugh and who is intelligent. I am the strong silent type and so like women who can talk. I do flippant jokes or serious current affairs but am rubbish at pointless small talk in between. An interest in art or music would be nice.
