About her
Loving and wanting to be loved. Had my share of knocks, but I have pulled through! (Same story as most of us seem to tell on here).
I am neither gregarious nor shy, a happy medium. I can hold my own in any company (dressing up or down as is befitting). I make friends easily.
I am a busy individual,I enjoy singing, playing a variety of musical instruments, being on stage, being back stage, making costumes, crafts of all descriptions, walking, reading, cooking, photography. I enjoy gardening when I get a chance, but looking at my garden right now you wouldn't ever guess. I also enjoy messing about in the water, skiing (but I am not very good) and I have tried my hand at climbing, abseiling and gliding. I've done a little bit of horse riding in the past- I would love to learn to do it properly.
I am not a vegetarian but I don't eat red meat.
I love all animals and I do have cats.
I am well educated..to Masters level, scientist by first degree.i took early retirement a few years ago to care for my father but he passed away recently.
I love to travel and have a passion for Switzerland and Austria- it's the mountains; the beach at Whitby or Bridlington, or walking by the canal in the village where I live.
I enjoy travelling. I have been to Costa Rica, India and Iceland in recent months. Fulfilled a couple of my bucket list dreams but there are plenty more still to do.
If you share any of my hobbies that would be great but hopefully you have some of your own to introduce to me (or to escape from me when you need a bit of 'you time').

It would be great if you shared some of my interests, but equally happy to get involved in new things...or indeed, have our own pastimes, sometimes.
A deal breaker would be smoking of cigarettes, pipe or cigars....disgusting and smelly habit...never mind the detriment to health!
I like a bit of romance but I don't expect flowers every day, but some spoiling is nice!
