About him
I enjoy meeting new people to share witty conversation and the humour of life. Having climbed out of my comfort zone I have recently qualified as an Archaeologist (it took me six months to learn how to spell it) and I am now engaged in a research programme. In my spare time I served on a cancer charity board and currently work with local community groups on lottery funded projects. For relaxation I like country walks preferably with a pub lunch at the end, fine dining, occasional theatre, and cruising. From my own experiences my philosophy is to look for new challenges in life and welcome each new day as a bonus.

My ideal companion would be intelligent, witty, and a good conversationalist, the sort of person who adds an extra dimension to life. They should enjoy the good things in life and have an interest in what's happening in the world. Ideally they should have a number of other interests they are willing to share but nothing to excess.
