About him
I'm an affable, easy going, fairly laid back gentleman with a wicked sense of humour.
I enjoy travelling, relaxing in front of the TV, walking in the countryside, pubs and occasionally cinema.
I'm extremely practical having once completely renovated my (almost derelict) house, and have now started work on the house that I have recently moved into.
I have weight trained on and off for most of my life - more off than on. In the last few years though I have made a more concerted effort, and now find myself in better shape than I was when I was 25. I also enjoy running, cycling and swimming.
My attire is normally casual. I'm most comfortable in jeans and a T-shirt in the winter, shorts and a T-shirt in the summer. I'm notorious for not needing to wear a jacket when it's cold.
I work as a consultant and often like to take time off between contracts in order to achieve a better quality of life. I work to live, not the other way around.
My interests are wide ranging - science, technology, photography, growing tomato plants, reading and occasionally playing computer games. I also enjoy DIY and maintaining my own cars.
I'm not a great one for watching sport, with the exception of tennis and the Six Nations rugby. And maybe England internationals - for the five minutes that it takes before they're knocked out.
